Everybody is well aware that 2019 was the golden age of Marvel on the silver screen, but we haven't yet reached the point in the nostalgia cycle where we're accurately labeling 2021 as the golden age of Marvel on Disney+. I know a lot of people think Disney+ shows are what led to the downfall of the MCU, and I agree that a lot of them feel like homework. It's lame that to understand a new movie, you have to watch 2 TV shows to fully get it. But you can't deny that shows like Wandavision and Loki were hugely influential and of high quality when they came out. In fact, a lot of people were wondering why Disney hadn't done it all sooner: Could you imagine the fanfare if they had made a Loki TV show in 2012? It would be like printing money! If you're a Loki fangirl, all grown up, or a former weekly watcher of WandaVision, these Marvel memes are for you.
